A friend shared with me this slogan, which was on a pro-choice button from about thirty years ago. It's a valid question. So often, the pro-life people at least seem to be the same people who don't believe in gay rights. It all comes back to religion. But for some reason I can't imagine God ever saying, "Everyone's life is precious, except for those people's".

Perhaps homosexuality isn't something a person is born with, but I personally believe it is. And even if it's not, it seems hypocritical to me to say, "Everyone deserves to live a full life, even a couple of cells in utero, but those people over there don't deserve to love." Of course not all pro-lifers are anti-gay, but of course there are some who are.

I have nothing against anyone, except people who beat up homosexuals because they're different. One of the members of a forum I frequent recently was victim of such a hate crime. According to his friend, who is giving the community updates, this is not the first time this has happened, and now he is so mentally shocked that he is afraid the male nurses will attack him.

Second - Even if the fetus "turns gay" (not a thing) later in life, it is still the same individual we are referring to.
